Group Flights
Work Canada participants are required to book a round-trip flight. The easiest and most flexible way to do this is to fly on a BUNAC group flight. This is also an ideal opportunity to meet other participants before you arrive in Canada.
Outward flights are from London to Toronto or Vancouver from February to January with most flights departing in June, July and October. You can expect to pay approximately £550 on a return flight to Toronto in June. Your ticket is valid for a full 12 months and for a small fee, you can change your return flight date while in Canada.
The Group Flight Package includes
- A BUNAC rep at the departure airport
- Transfer to your pre-booked arrival accommodation
- Moneywise Guide to North America, t-shirt and phone card
- Contact details of fellow BUNACers on your flight before you leave the UK

Independent travel
If you decide to arrange your own flight, you should make arrangements to attend the orientation talk, arrange your own transfers and book your own arrival accommodation in Canada.
We advise you not to book a flight until you have received written confirmation from BUNAC that the Work Authorisation has been issued. If it is delayed, it could be difficult and costly to change your flight. You must show that you have confirmed flights into and out of, North America.
