We ask that you include a £400 deposit at the time that you make your application (which will be deducted from your programme fee).
The balance of the programme cost is due no less than 8 weeks before your programme
start date.
If for any reason BUNAC rejects your application your deposit will be refunded in
full. Full cancellation terms are provided in the Programme Terms and Conditions
which are downloaded with the Programme Application pack.
Programme Start Dates
Most flights from the UK travel overnight so it’s likely you’ll need to start your
trip the day before the listed Arrival Date.

Flights
BUNAC’s in-house travel agency will be able to help you book your flights to and
from China. We discuss travel plans with all volunteers and encourage you to
travel on the same flights where practical.
Alternatively, if you’d like to arrange completely independent travel then you’re
more than welcome to as long as you arrive in Beijing for the start of the orientation.
When should I apply?
The latest date we can consider your application is 10 weeks before your UK departure
date.
However, places are available on a first come first served basis so we recommend
that you apply as soon as you can.
